Christopher started his career in Wealth Management in 1987 and, after working with the Lloyds Banking Group and Zurich in different capacities, he then became the founder of a Wealth Management firm based in Winchester.
Christopher still works on a day-to-day basis with the backing of an amazing team.
Christopher has three sons, and with two that are Directors within the firm, and his partner Michelle also working in the firm, the business has always felt to him as his extended family and he enjoys the opportunity to spend so much time with them. Christopher feels so lucky that he lives and works in Winchester.
Alongside his love of the business, Christopher has many interests in life which include psychology, Interior and Garden design, watching rugby and athletics, playing chess, eating good food, UK and European cars from the 1960’s. His favourite car brand is the Land Rover.
Partial to the outdoor life, Christopher is a keen coastal and river walker and has had the pleasure of having travelled to many countries around the world – something that he intends to continue to do with his partner Michelle. With a long list of places travelled, so far his favourite destinations are Snowdonia and Thailand!

Invest money sooner.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
The people that have influenced me the most are my sons and work colleagues as it’s their future that makes me get up in the morning and make my contribution.
What was your first job?
Paper Boy at age 13, I even had a company bike with pannier’s on the back, when it was icy I used to go flying because of the weight of the papers and magazines.
What’s your favourite book and why?
‘Land Rover’ by Ben Fogle. Not only is it the history on Land Rover which I am passionate about, it’s also about Ben’s life and the people he meets which makes the book very interesting to read.
Having studied Finance and Accounting at Bristol University, Robin began his career in financial services. Beginning working life in a successful firm in Christchurch, Dorset, Robin leapt at the opportunity of partnering with his Dad, Christopher, which became the bedrock foundation of the family business in 2014.
Robin has been focused on growing the business organically, providing financial planning advice, forming the business structurally and overseeing the operations and compliance. His role is extremely varied and provides full support to all the team.
Being an organiser and planner at heart, Robin is a firm believer that consistent, informed and excellent client service is key to a great outcome and will always directly improve the success of the business.
Outside of work, Robin is never adverse to a game of squash and plays regularly at his local club in Winchester. Robin is a devoted Dad to his daughter Esme and step daughter Thea, which keeps him very busy at weekends. He is very content exploring and walking around the local countryside of Winchester with partner Joanna and being in nature.
His future aspirations include continual self-improvement, learning, and providing the best up bringing for his daughters Esme and Thea.

If you could give your younger self any advice, what would it be?
Never stop learning, don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t overthink everything.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
I can confidently say this is my brother Eliot. I have literally always looked up to him. Not only is he a great friend, I admire his determination, positivity, outlook and never fails to make me laugh. We have a fantastic business and personal relationship, of which I will forever value.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grow up?
Honestly, a postman! However, I would have loved to be in the armed forces.
What’s your favourite book and why?
‘A short history of everything’….by Bill Bryson. A book everyone should read, it puts everything into perspective and beautifully articulated and written.
Eliot completed his education in Winchester and at the age of seventeen, he seized the opportunity to start his own business(s) where he quickly developed success in a lawn care franchise and a domestic home services business, as well as managing client relations for a power service provider working closely with the private healthcare sector. These valuable experiences help Eliot when advising clients on best use and planning of their business and personal wealth.
Eliot was awarded South Wiltshire Business Personality of the Year 2013 in recognition of his contribution to Wiltshire business.
Following successful business exits and seeking a new challenge, In March 2018 Eliot successfully completed his diploma in Financial Planning whilst continuing to focus on the development of the Christopher Jones business he had joined. Eliot now spends much of his time advising clients and spreading the good word about the family business he is proud to be part of.
Eliot is married to Lauren, living just outside of Winchester with their two children. They very much enjoy spending time together at weekend, whether it is days out enjoying the countryside or a long lunch with friends. From a young age Eliot has had a real passion for motorcars, this is something he still enjoys today.

There are a number of people whom I admire that I am fortunate to have been guided and supported by and who have helped me to get to where I am today, in business and my personal life.

Proud to have won Salisbury and District Business personality of the year 2013 following my work as Chairman of The Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce.
What’s your favourite book and why?
I don’t have a particular favourite, I do very much enjoy autobiographies, I find people so very fascinating.
Following a varied 30-year career at Lloyds Banking Group which commenced at the age of sixteen, Michelle worked her way up the ranks in many areas of the financial sector which included personal loans, pensions, general insurance, designing and delivering internal staff training courses, and risk management.
She was subsequently successful in obtaining a role at Communisis as a personal assistant to the managing director then achieving the role of the Risk Officer covering the Communisis site in Andover, Leeds, and Edinburgh.
Michelle joined the Christopher Jones family team in 2016 and with a sound background in the financial area, coupled together with extensive knowledge of compliance and risk, she brings a wealth of financial experience and knowledge and does a superb job supporting the team both day to day with financial research, reporting and client annual reviews.
Outside of the office, Michelle is partner to Christopher and has two children, Jack, and Kate. Michelle loves spending her free time indulging in her hobbies and time with Christopher together with the family and travelling.
Michelle has many hobbies including candle making, sewing, jewellery making, crafting cards, pictures, knitting, reading crime novels and enjoys keeping fit. She has a keen interest in interior design, military history, world weapons, tanks through the ages, and architecture with a particular interest in Castles build by Master James of St. George and has visited the castles in the ring of iron in Wales.
Michelle has travelled to many European countries and together with Christopher loves visiting Thailand. In the future she would like to visit many countries including Japan and Austria.

What’s your favourite book and why?
Work – Six Sigma handbook. Personal – So many to mention – I enjoy a good murder mystery, so all Agatha Christie – Colin Dexter and lately Richard Osmund, the unorthodox gang who solve the mystery and brilliant descriptive writing.
After finishing college, Jordan joined Lloyds Banking Group in Andover. Whilst at Lloyds, he worked in many different teams such as Data Subject Access Reports, Mortgage team and change of personal details. As a first job, this gave him a good start to working in the finance industry and gave him a solid foundation to move into the Wealth Management field.
Jordan joined Christopher Jones Wealth Management in April 2021 as a trainee paraplanner and now, with his background experience and the constant learning curve at Christopher Jones, Jordan assists with researching investments and pensions and instructing new business enquiries.
In his spare time, Jordan very much enjoys spending time with his partner Kate and their miniature dachshund Lady. Some favourite activities include seeing family and friends, exploring new walks and places, and their trips away to dog-friendly stays.
Jordan aims to complete his exams to expand his knowledge in the industry, business and self development which comes hand-in-hand with everyday work.

What was your first job?
McDonald's Crew Member - 2 training days and 1 full day only.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grow up?
Something to do with animals? Vet until I realised they also put animals to sleep. I did work experience at a Vets and almost fainted when watching a cat getting spayed, which was when I discovered I was a bit squeamish!
Chloe joined the team in July 2022, but was a part of the Christopher Jones Wealth Management family long before this, having been a friend of the family for the best part of 30 years!
As the company’s Business Support she is the first point of contact to our clients calling into the office and thrives when she provides an exceptional client service. Having most recently directly supported Managing Partners and Heads of department at her previous financial services firm, Chloe is highly experienced in helping to assist and manage a fast paced and dynamic team and business.
Chloe is happy to turn her hand to most things and provides support across all aspects of the business. (She also makes a great cup of coffee!)
Outside of work, Chloe loves spending time with her friends and family and takes any opportunity she can to go on a European city break. She is also an excellent cook and baker, and has hosted several Macmillan coffee mornings.
Chloe will soon be starting her studies towards the Diploma in Financial Planning and is looking forward to this new chapter of her career development.

If you could give your younger self any advice, what would it be?
Everything happens for a reason – follow your heart and trust your instincts as they are always right!
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grow up?
A designer - I've always had a creative side and when I left school I was torn between pursuing English Language / Psychology or going to art school. Had I chosen the latter, I'd have loved to have been a shoe or handbag designer!
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I used to be a choir girl, and have been very lucky to have sung in numerous concerts at Winchester Cathedral.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
My group of best friends – they are balancing being amazing mother’s whilst excelling at work and I think they are incredible!
After finishing school, Maisy attended college on a part-time basis where she obtained the Level 2&3 combined certificate in Health and Social Care, Level 2 Science and a Level 2 certificate in Accountancy.
In addition to her college studies, Maisy commenced employment with Sainsburys in Christchurch where she became fully upskilled across all departments, taking on the task of training new members of the team on staff polices and procedures within the food services side of the company.
Maisy joined the Christopher Jones Wealth Management team in April 2024 as our IFA Administrator.
In her spare time, Maisy enjoys spending time with her partner Jack, going to the cinema and reading books. Maisy also enjoys exploring the local countryside on walks and watching a variety of films and television show.

Try to cultivate a balance between ambition and self-care, to embrace curiosity and to remember that setbacks are opportunities for growth.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
My sister: she never gives up on anything and she works so hard no matter the circumstance or situation.
Have you won any awards or recognitions?
In the Army Cadets I won an award for ‘Under 15 Best Shot Shooter, Shooting.22 rifle’, as well as a certificate in ‘Signals’.

Looking for Alaska – John Green or anything by Harlan Coben.
